Welcome to the Stephanie Greenwell Photography Blog

My photo
Serving the Southeast Missouri area including Hayti, Caruthersville, Portageville, and Kennett

Welcome to my blog! I hope you'll stay awhile and get a few laughs at my everyday life. I'm a mother to four great kiddos and married to a stud-muffin. (It makes him feel better!) Life is always what you make it and to tell the truth, I couldn't make it any better than it is. Photography has allowed me capture the lives of my children in a way that I couldn't imagine. And now it's what I love to do. Let me capture your loves, your laughters, your lives.

Merry Christmas from my family

I had the great pleasure of photographing my own children this year for our Christmas cards. I have long had the idea of shooting at the old red schoolhouse that is now located on the square, so I decided that this would be make a great place for pictures. I always loved seeing that school when I was a kid when it was located on the property where they have now built my children's elementary school. It was built in the early 1800s. Very cool place for pics.

Although it was a mild day compared to the freezing cold temps we have been having, it was still a tad bit chilly for them, especially my girls who have short sleeves Christmas outfits this year. (Go figure, style over substance!) I have a ton of photos from this shoot, and I've continually uploaded new pics. Simple photos, yet they say a lot. They are some kind of cute! Merry Christmas and may your family have a blessed year in 2009!

Christmas Pics for Millers & Hinklins

What a treat it was for me to photograph not one, not two, but THREE little ones at the same time! Talk about getting a workout! These little cuties were fun to photograph even though little one wasn't in the holiday spirit of getting his picture taken (ahem, he actually just woke up from a catnap, I wouldn't be too spry myself!)

Even though the grandparents, mommas and well, the daddies didn't care, I managed to squeeze a cute moment of their break from "Jump, Emma, Jump, Jump!" on the couch. These kinds of pictures are priceless in that we'll always remember that the couch did the trick--what kid doesn't love to jump on a couch, a bed, anything with a spring that they could jump off of and bust their head wide open? I enjoyed taking pictures of them...it was certainly entertaining!
